Beauty Page 24~~ First Round of Sasa Orders Has Arrived!!

~ ~
I wasn't expecting the pack this early!! I was happy with the fast shipment and was kind of hoping for the pack to arrive sooner than the ones before. The reason? I had some bad reactions to some BRTC toner and cream. My face got all red, irritated and dry after couples of times of use. I've got really really sensitive skin and the toner I've used was heavily scented and I guess it contained alcohol. The cream was supposed to sooth my skin but dried it very badly!! Should have known better... So I needed my JUJU cream as soon as possible!! Guess I'm lucky ;p I'm trying not to touch my skin as much as possible so I'll be using the toner after a week when my face gets a bit hydrated and all the rash is gone! So it's going to take me more than 2 weeks to write a review on the toner and the BRTC serum. I'm not even sure if I should use any other product from BRTC (>.<) Anyways... Here are the photos of my package and the goodies it contained!!

Beauty Page 23~~ Some New Goodies from Sasa

~ ~
I have mentioned on the Vitacreme post that I was running out of moisturizer and toner. I also am running out of cleanser... So I decided to give some new products a try. I searched online through many web-sites and did a detailed research and finally decided on what to try!! Winter has been harsh on my skin! My Avene Gel Cleanser is drying out my skin too much and the Anti-shine regulating lotion from the same brand is not hydrating or moiturizing enough in winter. I guess both the products are better for summer. So I'm replacing the cleanser with JUJU Aquamoist HA Foam Cleanser. I still am to order this one from Sasa...

Skipping on to the things I've ordered... A Pore Tightening Serum from BRTC(US$25.30 for 30ml); JUJU Cosmetics Aquamoist Vitamin C Cream(US$15.20 for 50g)&Toner(US$12.30 for 120ml). I'll be using JUJU as my day cream while applying Vitacreme as a night cream and see how it will all work out(hopefully great!). JUJU products had around 300 something raving reviews from the users on Sasa. So I thought, these can't go wrong. They're also for all skin types and really really cheap!! People compared Creme de la Mer with JUJU's Vitamin C Moisture cream O_O

Click on the images below to be directed to the product's homepages on Sasa and read more detailed information plus reviews of users. I will review the products myself after a 2 weeks trial.

Likes:
> It's 4 in 1; SPF20/PA++ sun protection, coverage, whitening, has wrinkle repair functions.
> Great for oily skin! It did not make me break out.
> Provides the coverage I need. My face does not need much covering since I don't have acne or acne scars on my face.
> Looks very dark when you first squeeze it out of the tube but blends well even with my pale complexion.
> Stays on the whole day!!
> Does not have any significant scent to it which is great for my highly sensitive nose.

Dislikes:
> Very thick. Not easy to apply.
> I feel like it's clogging up my pores but I'm sure it's because of the thickness.
> When you use a bit more than you should, it fills in the holes your facial expressions dig. Does not look flattering =/

Where to Purchase:
I bought mine from Ebay.
Sasa also has BRTC.

Tips:
This one might not suit dry skins. BRTC has a chart that helps you pick the right BB Cream for your skin type.

Likes:
> A small amount is enough to cover the whole face.
> Does not stain clothes.
> Very easy to apply.
> Does not leave face looking white
> I really think that it’s got strong whitening properties.
> The bottle is very small, you can easily carry it around in your purse.
> Does not leave face looking oily. I think it’s great for people who have oily skin like me.
> It also does not cause any excess sebum secretion on the T-zone area.

Dislikes:
> Smells kind of like a medicine but it does not bother much.
> Even though a small amount is enough to cover the whole face, the bottle is still pretty small(30ml). So this can be a good thing or/and a bad thing. Depends from person to person. For me it’s a good thing because my purse is usually already very full without the sun block ^^’’

**5 STARS**

I love this sunscreen!!
And I highly recommend it, especially to oily skins. However, note that products do not work the same on every person. So do read more reviews on it and more information on the product before you decide to buy!!
You may read more information and reviews on the product on Sasa. If the reviews on Sasa are not enough, you may jump on to Makeup Alley for more.

Beauty DIY Tip for Skin Whitening

~ ~
I was going through some article on Korean celebrities when I bumped into this DIY recipe. Some of you definitely know who Song Hye Gyo is. For the ones who don't, she is one of the prettiest actresses in South Korea. She is most famous for her beauty and clear, porcelain skin. So this article claims that Hye Gyo shared her beauty secrets and gave out some DIY tips for whitening.
Here's Song Hye Gyo's recipe for skin whitening:
> One fresh egg white.
> A spoon full of honey.
Clean your face first. Mix the egg white and honey and stir until the egg white gets bubbly. Apply on your face and wait until the mask dries. Rinse the mixture off with loads of water. Apply this mask every once in two weeks.

> Smells nice.
> Like the packaging, it's cute.
> Black mask, is interesting.
> Gives your face a cool, refreshing feeling.
> Unlike many bad reviews I've read on how hard it is to apply to the face, I myself proved all those wrong. It's actually pretty easy to apply and does come out your finger quite easily.
> Does whiten.

Dislikes:
> I found it to be too harsh on the skin. Facial hair comes out and it hurts!!
> I would not recommend this on sensitive skins. My skin is pretty sensitive so it did not give me the feeling that it should. Gave me a bit of skin irritation. Nothing major but still... I would prefer the Silk Whitia Masks!!

*3Stars*

Tips:
> You can apply the remaining cream in the bag onto your face after 10 minutes(mask should stay on for 15-20min.). You may also apply some of the remaining cream to your neck area.
